Project Description

Jump@school is a project led by Sardinia Region and co-funded by EU’s Lifelong Learning Programme that involves partners from Italy, Austria, Germany, Poland, Spain, Turkey.

The overall objective is to provide recommendations and tips to define education and VET custom-made policies to prevent and contrast the Early School Leaving. The project started in December 2014 and will last until April 2017.

In order to define the experimentation model, the project partners collected and analysed models to prevent early school leaving realised and/or in progress in their countries as well as in some other European countries. A total 38 good practices were identified. Among these, 14 were deemed most interesting for the definition of a model applicable to the Jump@school project and were defined in more detail following a standardised template.

The MetropolisNet EEIG is generally responsible for the exploitation of the project and in particular for the implementation / monitoring/ evaluation of the “Exchange Seminars”.
