September was a busy but productive month for our network!
In Rome, MetNet gathered with partners at the Ciofs-Fp HQ to coordinate the next phases of the Guide 2.0 project, working on ways to improve Information Advice and Guidance practice for young adults.
At the same time elsewhere in Rome, we also participated in the 4th meeting for the IntoDigits project. Partners worked on developing an online platform for trainers to improve the numeracy and digital skills of young adults in an innovative way.
The next week, MetNet was again on the road, this time in Barcelona, where the #HITproject partners planned their awareness raising campaign to combat hate speech. We are very proud to be part of this unique project, in which stakeholders and young people are acting together to fight hate speech and discrimination against migrants in Europe.
And we can’t forget to mention our annual development meeting and ten year birthday celebrations! Taking advantage of being gathered in Rome, our network members discussed the latest political trends in Europe, current MetNet projects and strategic aims for the next 5 years. Finally we shared a beautiful dinner and blew out the candles, wishing for another ten years of European partnership!
We wish to thank all our dear network members for gathering in Rome to celebrate with us. Over the past decade we have continuously proven how important and productive European cooperation can be. We are certain even greater things lay ahead!
