Last week, we held another exciting Mingle intercultural workshop in Berlin!
The meeting brought together local Berliners and newly-arrived migrants, who got to know each other by sharing personal stories and interests. The participants will next have the opportunity to take part in our mentoring program, which aims to facilitate a smoother welcoming into the city!
The MINGLE project aims to build trust in a diverse society and wants us to become aware of aspects in life that all humans share! It is based on the conjecture that integration goes beyond having a job and that a frequent interaction between Member State Citizens and newly arrived Third Country Nationals (TCN) is fundamental for integration and active citizenship in the society.
MINGLE is funded by the ‘Asylum. Migration, and Integration Fund’ (AMIF) and ten partners from five countries are involved. In all the five countries (Greece, Spain, Cyprus, Sweden and Germany) different activities and interventions will be carried out to reach a minimum of 500 locals and 500 TCNs to foster their Social and Human Capital.
If you would also like to participate in future workshops, write to us at mingle@metropolisnet.eu!
