The role of digital inclusion and accessibility is steadily growing, especially in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.
To support people with disabilities to achieve their full potential, and overcome the challenges of the labour market, the JOBS4ALL project is the right one in promoting the digital transformation & modernisation of the YOUTH SECTOR.
📌The project’s aim is to enhance the capacity of institutions to manage an effective shift towards digital training with a specific focus on young people with disabilities (YPwDs), e.g. learning difficulties, Down Syndrome, Intellectual disabilities, High functioning autism (HFA) etc., aged 15+ in employability skills.
One of the project’s highlights is that it pioneers the integration of emerging technologies such as serious games with the use of Virtual Reality (VR) equipment based on real-job scenarios in order to facilitate the YPwDs’ introduction into the labour market.
👉JOBS4ALL project will seek to:
▶️ provide interactive & hands-on training approaches based on the creation of EMPLOYMENT HUBS.
▶️ design a POLICY ADVOCACY PACK for the labour market to integrate people with disabilities into their work contexts successfully.
▶️ empower YPwDs’ needs and foster EQUAL ACCESS to the labour market
▶️ create an inclusive engagement programme and workplace culture.
