MetropolisNet was in beautiful Santander last week along with the Mingle Project partners to discuss the project’s next phases and the implementation of the innovative ”How to Mingle” platform.
The platform will be an open resource for professionals, locals, Third Country Nationals and whoever wishes to see diversity and integration becoming the new and sustainable reality of EU countries.
In parallel, partners elaborated the EMKIT toolkit, a set of activities which will be implemented by mentors (locals) with their mentees (Third Country Nationals) upon their one-to-one sessions which are about to take place later next year.
The MINGLE project aims to build trust in a diverse society and wants us to become aware of aspects in life that all humans share! It is based on the conjecture that integration goes beyond having a job and that a frequent interaction between Member State Citizens and newly arrived Third Country Nationals (TCN) is fundamental for integration and active citizenship in the society.
