The labour market is continually changing. Words such as “digitalisation” and “automation” are well established with the future world of work and it is important that Career Guidance practitioners are supported and equipped with innovative tools to acquire the competencies needed to engage with clients effectively within a digitalised environment.

Responding to the emerging need for the modernisation of Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG) and Vocational Education and Training (VET) sectors across Europe, GEGS offers a holistic policy measure, tested and implemented to achieve systemic impact at the EU, national, regional and local level.

Led by MetropolisNet, the project’s innovative approach centres around two critical elements: providing IAG practitioners with a complete, engaging and easy to use digital training framework, and introducing advanced tools for e-guidance, based on artificial intelligence.

The ‘Guide’ Case Studies will be combined with engaging quality methods to progress IAG practitioner competences, keeping in mind the Communities of Practice (CoPs). All this experience will be combined with technical partner Jobiri’s e-guidance platform, as an AI-based digital career advisor.
