👨👨👧👧 Today marks World Youth Skills Day!
Youth unemployment is among the greatest global challenges today. Young people are three times more likely than adults to be unemployed, often facing prolonged school-to-work transition periods.
This day offers a reminder of the importance of equipping young people with skills for employment, decent work and entrepreneurship.
MetNet is proud to take part in combating youth unemployment through several projects, most notably the Youth Employability Competences (YEC) project!
YEC aims to collaborate across Europe with youth-focused organisations, employers and most importantly young people, to address a well-researched gap in young people’s employability competencies.
